This month, when people start to go on vacation, when school ends and family events take over the calendar, I am canceling the usual trainings and instead providing a sandwich-making party in Center City, Philadelphia. This is a lightweight way to provide a needed resource to your community in a safe and comfortable environment. Every participant will get a Platia coffee pack to bring home with them, because sharing coffee and talking about what you learned is how the community grows.

At this party we'll have coffee and food and music. We'll make as many peanut butter and jelly sandwiches as we can, to be given out at the next available Friday Food Not Bombs distro in Mifflin Square Park. You can see that event in the video below.

These will be held on two mornings: Sunday, May 10th (I always do service in memory of my mother on that day) and Friday, May 22nd. You do not need to bring anything except your willingness to participate and meet new people.

Fill out this form to register and the address will be sent afterwards. Can't wait to meet you all.
