Thanks for reading our zine!

If you read How To Help Your Neighbors and are looking for more information, you're in the right place.

The Platia is a tiny newsroom that treats information as harm reduction, and helps citizens take care of their communities. Here's more information similar to what you read in the guide:

Where to find (and volunteer) with free food in Philly

Where to find free Narcan in South Philly

A checklist to look at before you donate clothing

How to file a Right To Know request for public records about your community

After reporting in newsrooms for 20 years, The Platia is my project to give that knowledge back to the community. I am fiscally sponsored by The Tiny News Collective and sustain on members, donations and grants.

Every month I send an email of free food and civic events, and where to volunteer. Your support, even a free newsletter signup, means the world and helps me continue. All Platia member pledges go directly back into the community, at the Friday free food picnic.

If you'd like to show support, but not into newsletters, you can support future zines here.
